If you’re new to making fried rice, we’ll let you in on a secret, not all rice is created equal. We like to use a long grain rice that stays fluffy and loose when cooked or a blend like Carolina® Long Grain & Jasmine Rice which is specifically crafted for making fried rice so you can be sure you’ve got the right rice for the job. You’ll also want to add in completely cooled or day old rice. You want the rice to be cooled so that it does not release any extra moisture making your dish mushy. This means you can use your leftover rice from yesterday’s Fried Rice bowl with Falafel and Tahini to make a delicious pork fried rice.
