Finger food has never been so finger linkin’ good. Serve these Meatball Sliders at your next gathering and you’ll never go back to cheese and meat boards.
Step 1
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the bouillon cube and stir to dissolve. Stir in the Rice and Quinoa blend. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a large baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except the marinara sauce, cheese and parsley. Form into walnut-sized balls and arrange on the baking dish.
Step 4
Roast in the oven for approximately 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
Step 5
Spoon the marinara sauce on top, then sprinkle with the cheese; bake for an additional 5 minutes or until sauce is hot and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle with parsley.
Step 6
Make sliders by slicing a dinner roll in half and placing a meatball on top, sprinkle with fresh parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Need a fulfilling appetizer for hungry guests? Our saucy bite-sized meatball burgers are the ideal solution for the most ravenous of party-goers. Drenched in marinara sauce and melty cheese, they’re saucy, satisfying, and Oh. So. Tasty.
Starting with the meatballs, you’ll need lean ground beef and a half a cup of our Carolina® Jasmine Rice with Quinoa. For seasoning, add in chopped garlic, dried Italian spices, and a bit of soy sauce. For added flavor, our rice gets cooked in a beef bouillon cube. Apart from these ingredients, one egg, two tablespoons of ketchup, diced onions, and chopped carrots will help bind everything together.
Once combined, these roast in the oven for just 20 minutes. Then, topped with marinara and shredded mozzarella they’re popped back in the oven for an additional five minutes. After, mount them on mini slider buns and top with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of parmesan.
Looking to cut out the beef? Go ground turkey or pork for a protein substitute. You could also try mixing things up and using long grain rice instead of quinoa.
