Authentic Temaki Hand Rolls
Ingredients
For the Spicy Tofu & Kimchi Hand Roll
- 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Jasmine Rice
- 2–3 slices of spicy tofu (pan-fried or baked)
- 2 tbsp kimchi, chopped
- 1 tbsp scallions, finely sliced
- 1 sheet of nori
For the Teriyaki Meatball Handroll
- 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Jasmine Rice
- 2–3 mini teriyaki meatballs, halved if needed
- 3–4 thin slices of cucumber
- 1 tsp mayonnaise (Japanese mayo preferred)
- 1 sheet of nori
For the Sweet & Spicy Mango Hand Roll:
- 1/2 cup cooked Mahatma® Jasmine Rice
- 3–4 thin slices of ripe mango
- 1 tsp Tajín seasoning
- 1 tsp chili-infused honey
- 1 sheet of nori (seaweed)

For the Spicy Tofu & Kimchi Hand Roll
Step 1
Place the nori sheet with the rough side up on a clean surface. Spread the rice in a diagonal strip on one half of the sheet.
Step 2
Add tofu slices, a spoonful of kimchi, and top with fresh scallions. Roll into a cone shape, sealing with a bit of water if needed. Enjoy immediately—bold, umami-packed, and plant-powered!
For the Teriyaki Meatball Handroll
Step 1
Place the nori sheet rough side up. Spread a diagonal layer of rice across the center.
Step 2
Add meatballs and cucumber slices over the rice.Drizzle a bit of mayo for creaminess.
Step 3
Roll into a hand cone and serve warm or at room temperature. Perfect balance of sweet, savory, and crunchy.
For the Sweet and Spicy Mango Hand Roll
Step 1
Place the nori sheet on a clean, flat surface, shiny side down. Spread a thin layer of rice diagonally across one half of the sheet. Layer the mango slices on top of the rice.
Step 2
Sprinkle with Tajín for a tangy, spicy kick. Drizzle chili honey over the mango.
Step 3
Roll the nori into a cone shape (temaki style), sealing the edge with a bit of water. Serve immediately for a sweet, spicy, and refreshing bite!
